Cruisn' Grand  Escondido California

I spent a couple of months working in the San Diego area this summer and was able to catch up with two of our members at the Cruise on Grand in Escondido California.  The members were Drew57 and Ari.  I took off work early to get there and watch how this great show unfolds.  Unlike a lot of the cruises that we attend now, after the judging, people pack up and go home.  At the Cruise on Grand after the awards are given, people get in their beautiful rides and cruise the streets for hours.  It made me feel like the old days seeing all that shiny chrome, bright paint and hearing those fine tuned cars.  Thanks for the great time guys. One of the sad things I am sure we are all seeing at the events this year is a lot more cars wearing the "For Sale" sign.  I have to give Otis credit for this sentiment, he said. "Yes there are a lot of cars for sale, but it gives someone else a chance to realize and build their dream."  Drew57 on the left Ari on the right
