More exciting news from our sponsor at Danchuk.  They have agreed to a Link to TriFive.com and use Trifive.com, as their main discussion forum.  55-56-57 Chevy owners who need to get tech help can talk with other Trifive owners.  Currently Danchuk is working on a new website design.  When that is completed we will have a special category on our forum for Danchuk.  They will send 55-56-57 owners to TriFive and will be online to assist us with their  tech help in the special Danchuk are of the forum.

Get ready for a lot of new members.  We are going to keep growing and growing for a long time.

TriFive will never change, it will always be "the" place where good friends can get together and talk about our favorite cars, the 1955-56-57 Chevys.

Featured Car

In the past we have featured cars that are completed and ready for either show or daily driver status.  This time it is truly a pleasure to bring you a story about a 1956 210 that is still a work of art in progress. The featured car is "Keith's" car in a story called

  "Pop's long lost love"

Barn Find

How many stories have you heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that there is an old Chevy sitting in the shed, the shop or the barn just waiting to be discovered only to find out it is a Ford, or something even more despicable.

One of our members brought this Motor Trend article  to my attention.  The funny thing is I knew the guy when I lived in Atlanta, and had no idea what he had buried in his garage.

From the Editor

It is hard to believe how fast the last three months have raced by. Since our initial release of Tire Tracks there has been so much going on on TriFive.com that it is hard to decide what to put into the newsletter.  The Story Contest brought out the best of what most of us remember as a good time when we were young with a hot Chevy.  The Featured Threads are a small example of what's going on here every day.  Our Featured Car is a wonderful story of how this hobby brings families together.  Don't miss the new International section. Make sure to see the Technically Speaking area to give you an idea pf what information is available here.

Check out the new area in our Classifieds "Parts to Trade"

Many of us are taking advantage of the warmer weather to check out local car events or work on our favorite projects. As I write this I have just finished putting a new epoxy floor down in the garage awaiting the return of my '55 from the paint shop.  This is the time not to neglect the forum especially since you who are visiting shows could be loading us up with new pictures.  And those working on projects could be helping all of us by letting us know how you are accomplishing whatever task it is you are up to.  Face it, most of us are guys and that means we like the pictures.  I am continually looking for new information and ideas for the Newsletter.  Please e-mail me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to MP&C. He recently taught us all a painful lesson on safety.  Please see the thread  How to make a 58 1/2 gallon oil drum.  Get well soon, Robert. The genuine concern from our members shows this is more than a billboard, it is a family.

I want to thank all the members of TriFive for their support and their wealth of information.
